Hi all
I have my own template for a Swiftcraft 9625 patchbay and compiled it from scratch using Excel rather than word as this is the best way to go once you start it, print it a few times and eventually get it right.

I could put it on here but your own printer settings would have to be adjusted to make it work properly. Here is a sample (if it loads on here correctly...!).

I recently bought patchcad and it’s awesome. There is a Mac version now. If anyone needs some labels made, let me no and I’ll make them and send the file to you.

Hi,

I bought patchcad 3 standard version (not pro). I do not know which template should I use for a SSL 4000E patchbay. I made have printed some labels but they do not fit in the patch plastic cover.

Could someone let me know which is the correct template I should select in the app?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards.

Oihan

Hi Oihan

I recently installed an SSL studio in Dorchester, UK (Echotown) and they bought Patchcad. I labelled some stuff on their computer but left before it was cut out and fitted.

I think the template to use on Patchcad is a Mosses and Mitchell 48 way version (assuming you have a 48 wide patchbay). I went back a month later, they had put the labels in place and the horizontal spacing seemed to be fine.

I think the vertical measurement for the SSL clear designation strip is about 6mm high so you need to print one out with the horizontal and vertical measurements and change it to suit. Once you sort it out, you will have the correct template for any future changes on your patchbay, especially outboard stuff which changes all the time of course.

Hope this helps from Jim Lassen.
