4000 G Keyboard rebuild?
« on: January 25, 2017, 10:18:22 PM »
So our keyboard is coming apart and not responding to some keys. I took it apart and stacked up some paper and glued the little silver disc down... seems to have got it going at least for a little while.

Anybody else rebuild one of these? technique?

Transplant remote keyboard assemblies back in to the console. I've had great luck with this, and finding 'like new' keyboards at AES Pro Audio UK :-)

Yeah, he always has these, and mostly from japan, some almost untouched too. Defiantly worth dropping him a line.
