hello everybody !

today finally good news !   ;D

Iv'e powered the desk with only one psu at the time and found that the second one is causing the noise!!!

My meter can't read the noise but she it's connected i can clearly hear it !

Any idea to solve this ?

well, the BEST solution would be to get a new Atomic supply and be done with it and save money on the monthly electrical bill as well.

but, you are going to need to find a good repair person who knows power supplies to work on it. There is a lot of smoke that can be let out of that box and it can cost you a lot of money if that happens. It is not the easiest thing to work on, but it can be repaired and returned to service for many more years.

Now, where are you and do you need a reference?

it's most likely the filter caps. I've seen oscillation at the MHz range in those PSU's that can create audible artifacts in the 12-18k range.

Thank you waltzing bear i didn't know about atomic supply !

I those thing is as good as it looks will work amazing !

Unfortunately the studio now can't afford a new PSU, we usually contact George Gilbert for the hard stuff.

Don't worry about the magic smoke i'm sure i can avoid that  ;D 8)

i'm recapping the output capacitors and the regulators card

already swapped to see if it's a faulty card

Ok guys , looks like we have solved this !

it was a bad output capacitor(C3 on the schematics 1000uF) alluding feedback from the output of the PSU to the regulator card !

Thank you everybody!

pare it down, reduce the variables, and the answer shall be revealed!

Excellent, now to make more than one note music!
