Hi Guys

I'm new round here. Absolutely loving the amount of info on here I'm learning loads.

I'm weighing up the idea of doing the mini 4k thing by getting parts together and I've got an ton of questions I want to ask you but I'll leave those for another day.

First one though, there's a listing I've seen for a 5k frame and the description says "it could fit 4/6k modules with some adjustment"
Is that right? If so, how much adjustment are we talking?
There's no backplanes or anything in this frame it's just metal/wood work and trim, I just mean in a physical sense.

Would it just be better to buy some 4k buckets?

Cheers
George

I have built some baby 4Ks a nice option if you don't have all the
center section cards is the CAPI ACA amps for summing and master
output. Have fun!

Absolutely go with 4k buckets.  There's many reasons the 5k is rarely mentioned.
