SSL 4000 G Series Channel Strip Card Screws
« on: November 21, 2017, 02:01:38 AM »
Does anybody know the correct threading size for the screws that hold the cards in the channel strip?

I couldn't upload the pictures here so I uploaded them to Imgur:

We seem to have some missing and I would like to replace them.

Thank you.

Hi,

I recently bought M3 x 18 phillips screws. They are a little bit long, 12mm would be enought instead of 18mm, but they fit perfectly.

Here is the link of amazon where I bought them (here in Spain):

I think you could buy them in many online stores.

Best regards.

Perhaps Andy will chine in here, but I think it may be a little more complex than that, with different screws being used on different vintages or shipping directions. Not sure, just be careful. I seem to recall having one with 3.5mm screws, which are not the easiest to find.

Cheers

Hi,
I think the very, very early E series may have been different, but anything mainstream should be M3.
