Man this has me thinking now.
What about an open source like card for devs.
The card would only have t/r and pads to solder on from the 500 series modules pots and switches.
Like the SSL βeta - Hardware Development Kit for 500 Format Racks
So if Inward connections wanted to make a card they could based around this daughter card.
Your console would be like a giant 500 rack.
If SSL corporate is reading this feel free to make something also.
If you think of all the console modules that have been cut down and racked they could use them also. Plug in play.
