Modules restoration / repair
« on: September 03, 2018, 08:26:53 PM »
Hi guys! I have a lot of modules from an old ssl that was in a studio around here... I am newbie in restoring / testing modules... I make some basic stuff in my ssl, but i want to restore this modules.

I have a test jig made by david kulka, so i can turn on the module outside the console, and also pass audio through it...

But i dont know how o what to test for ex the eq... How to determine if its working ok, or if it needs to be recapped or change a IC?

well for sure its a really basic stuff but cant find info on this!

thanks!

Best way to check is to go through the channel calibration procedure as attached  (hopefully)

Hey I don’t suppose you could reupload the 611 calibration procedure? Or email it to me? Thanks!
