Hi There,
here is a strange one for you :
Every other channel displaying wrong channel number in recall display - automation does not have this problem.

problem also seen in TR (desk monitor) when you swap a track .

also !test -> TR -> 'Display object values ' does not have this problem .

any ideas?

do you have the "channel ID" turned on in the software? You do know that the channel modules are coded with a number assignable on the card at the bottom of the module?

Swap a channel, change the number if you have that turned on.

otherwise, it gets confused.

Cheers

HI!

Thanks for your suggestion.

you mean  re-selecting he objects?  I re-did that, same issue.

the automation seems fine, just not the recall.  I am starting to wonder if its the  if one TR multiplex address lines are messed up.

I've seen something similar happen with my console. My issues ended up being a multiplexer ribbon being half way unplugged. It didn't change every other channel like yours, but random channels would be labled as 100+ and some of my stereo channels would show as mono.

Hi Clip6,

I have not found a solution.  i tried unplugging each side of the LHS and RHS S9E to see of there was problem with the TR mux busses.  no help there.
i have to investigate more .. are you having this issue??

Hey. So your at PS right? What did the old time SSL techs say?

Your not short on tech talent where you are.

It would be good to know the solution if it comes up for someone else in the future.

What is your symptom?   I've asked people around NYC and no one seems to know anything.

I wish i knew and ex SSL TR expert.

Spoke to him, great guy he says he may have been part of building my particular desk.

He is amazing, has taken care of much for me over the years.
