Interfacing to Pro Tools and the SSL 4k

Hi All

Just wondering, The SSL has, from what i know,  a +24 dbu clipping point. (i may be wrong)

Im looking at getting a new set of converters to get to and from pro tools. Currently ive been using the Antelope Orion 32 which can be calibrated to 20dbu max input. (and output)

They've got a new Unit out that i am considering replacing the original model with (original one got damaged).

The new one can be calibrated to 24dbu max input. . .(and output)
Which seems to me to be more in line with the SSL... but i am not an expert on this stuff. . .

Will this help in any way to match up to the SSL? Get the most out of the situation.

Hey. Think we have a thread on this already. I'm 192's at  -18 in/out -14 on print from ssl.
