Center Section Extenders (Build)
« on: September 02, 2019, 10:24:56 PM »
Hey guys,

Looking to build some center section extenders so we can start troubleshooting some center section issues on our own without always having to call Bruce (Desk Doctor) to come over. Has anyone built some that could give us some advice on how or if it's smarter/more cost effective to just buy some and if so where could be buy some?

There was a whole heap available on the Japan Yahoo auctions site.
To build your own is costly, most of which is the edge connectors

Keith and gang made their own version of channel extender cards before and I wonder if they also make 651 extender cards which, from memory, just involve 51 and 60 (something) connectors either side of a blank PCB card (1 to 1).

Maybe give Recycled Audio in the UK a call to find out and hope this helps.
