AWS900 self oscillation when using LPF
« on: September 08, 2012, 11:14:40 PM »
Hey guys

This might be a bit basic, but it did spin me off and got me headscratching for a bit.
when turning up the LPF, you would have a low frequency tone being generated.

Of course, this is made worse if any EQ is applied. It will easily send a signal that will clip your mix bus.

The answer is (apparently) to exercise the pots. It has solved the problem and CS at SSL confirmed this for me.

There. If all problems were that easy to fix.
