Mixed channels in last bucket!
« on: November 02, 2012, 01:14:23 PM »
We have never really bothered about this bucket before (49-56) Its working in its own strange way but now we thought we should give it a try and fix the issues we´re having.

In this bucket 49-52 is mono channels, 53-56 is stereo channels, the bucket is supposed to run stereo channels

There are not much volume coming out of the 611S channels, except for when fader is in Independent mode in which we have to use them now,  anyone know why this could be?

We also noticed on the 611S motherboard, one leg on R22 and R23 is disconnected on the channels except for one! ??

So... a couple of questions, hope someone could help out :)

Vca Grouping/automation is exactly the same for the stereo module.

Could S13E ribbon be missing to that bucket? Is this bucket connected to the computer?

Thanks for replying!

They are connected to computer, since I got a couple of stereo channels to work correctly today I think it could be fader related, gonna look more into it tomorrow!

Still curious about the chopped of resistors R22-R23 on the 611S motherboard? Soldered them back on one 611S but didnt noticed any difference :)

hints from my head   ;-)

-try replace/switch to another fader module or..
-check jumper setting on bay mainboard...get channelstrip out from bay and check the jumper configuration

Thanks for answering!

Faders seems good, maybe I should look into the jumpers thanks!

This seems to be the behaviour :

1 - 611S channels in this bucket gives normal volume in all thumbwheel settings except for 1 (almost no volume)

2 - The channels does not react to any VCA group fader movements when set to 2, 3 etc...

3 - SOLO/CUTs and Matrix work as expected

Btw, coudlnt find any info in the manual about the jumpers on 82E266, any help appreciated :)

Seems to be working fairly now, but choosing VCA group 1 on thumbwheel stereo channel still gets me low volume :(

Another problem appeared, 25-32 seems to got stuck in SOLO ISOLATE no matter I do, its always something :)
