4K 6K 8K Module Removal (Tool)
« on: February 26, 2013, 08:25:10 PM »
I have the removal tools here Jim mentioned in another thread http://forum.sslmixed.com/index.php?topic=31.0

Basically, according to Jim, a pair of 2BA screws with Sifam knobs fitted.

But - how the heck do I use these to remove the modules?

Somehow I always managed to remove them without the tool.  8)

just take the screws out, and screw the puller tool into the holes. there are threads cut into the front panel.

Thanks! So simple and genius construction. Never thought of that!
