AWS 900 software update

anybody has done done a firmware and software update on these?

it took me few hours to realize the new firmware chip I got from SSL was not working correctly...
gosh...

post here if you have any experience!

if you follow their directions its fairly painless. It goes in thru the midi ports so you need to have that sorted out first.

Done it several times, no problems.

yep, got the computer talking via midi and ethernet before doing the firmware chip swap.

swapped chip dead console.

put old chip back in back on track console works and computer talks!  ;)

got a replacement one and now it works!

another one this week with the same upgrade needed.
