My external input switching stopped working in my centre sections a day or so ago. The patched audio only comes out of the left speaker and has a very blown out quality to it. when I changed between other inputs there is a very loud low end click and some of the audio from the patched in input bleeds across faintly.
the associated card is the external monitor selector card 82e28 (82e338 in newer consoles). I swapped it out with another card and the same issues lead me to believe it is not on that card. The 82e20 external monitoring buffers is also associated, but I do not have a spare to test it.
I'm trying to have a tech come out asap, but wondering if anyone has had a similar problem in the past and could help. I'm using these to switch between my Mac output / Pro Tools 2-track mix output / 1/8inch iPhone in so its quick central to my operations!
