Hi guys,
As you already know, back in 2015 out of necessity I designed a new SSL Ultimation Extender set with debugging purposes in mind. I had no other choice since the original extenders are nowadays impossible to source (and believe me I have looked all around! :o)! So, if you're an owner of a Ultimation console you know what I am talking about, Ultimation faders are close to impossible to maintain without a proper extender (e.g. calibrate/align or debug and fix faults). This new extender allows you to easily probe each one of the 48 signals that goes between the console and an Ultimation fader, helping you greatly to troubleshoot and service.
Each extender set includes:
- 1 x PCB Console Card(connects to the console in place of the Ultimation fader
- 1 x PCB Fader Card (connects to the fader giving you 48 test points fully documented onboard)
- 1 x 34way flat cable (2 meters)
- 1 x 16way flat cable (2 meters)
I am selling fully assembled sets. If you're interested contact me to my e-mail adassumpcao@gmail.com
CURRENT STATUS: IN STOCK

PS: I am also working on a new prototype card that will allow you to dial several test scenarios (fader connected, fader disconnected, fader load simulation, disable touch sense, etc.). This is a very small card I did to help me debug the faders, which is very small and connects between the fader package and the 353 card. If there's interest I can also factory produce this card and sell as a package with the extender card. Let me know what you think.
Cheers,
Artur

Hi Alan,
No estimated cost at this time, I am currently sourcing all the necessary parts. But I guess it won't be much different than last batch 2 years ago.
I am assembling them myself. At this moment I'm printing the PCBs with my long time trust pcb printing house. It should be ready and delivered soon.
I'll let you know more about pricing as soon as I have all parts sorted out and stocked.
Cheers,
Artur

I'm sorry, I must be dense, but I can't find a cost for the previous set anywhere in the archives. So I still am in the dark about the cost range of this set. $1 or $1000.
Cheers
