Konnektor S29 Port **SOLVED**
« on: July 05, 2013, 10:19:41 AM »
Hi,

Where abouts is the S29 port located on the underside of the patch bay?

This seems like a silly question but it's definitely not labelled clearly on my 4000 G.

Thanks!

It's the D-Sub called "MULTITRACK" - at the very back of the panel.

I got the Smart 2Tools to work a few weeks ago. Connects to the s29 Port as well - and MIDI to the DAW on the other side.
Mind you, I don't work with the G+ Mix-Computer, pretty much waiting for the Dramastic...

But what the 2Tools does, is connecting the DAW to the Multitrack Transport in both directions, also providing the power for the LEDs in the Buttons. Great feeling to operate the DAW from the Centre Section of the Console.

Just installed a Konnektor on a 4K G+ using multitrack DB25 underneath the console.
took 30 minutes including settings on the SSL computer and everything.

BRILLIANT PIECE OF KIT!

well done Werner!
