General black burst video sync question

So I'm trying to get a XL9000K computer to boot. It's my understanding
it needs video sync to boot. I have a Avid sync io and HD Madi box here
but not currently connected to a computer. Will either of these boxes work?

I am afraid they wont.

you need a black burst generator and as far as I am aware neither of those boxes can do that.

Thanks guys I was in the "sticks" on a Saturday and couldn't get my hands
on anything until a fellow SSL dork pointed out a clock in one of my txt that
could do PAL/NTSC. So when looking for "Black Burst" also look for PAL/NTSC.
Once I connected that the system booted right up! Thanks! N
