ATR102 to S28E wiring info
« on: March 13, 2021, 12:57:17 PM »
I want to control my ATR102 from my center sections Tape remote.
Anyone have an PDF or similar of this before I dive into the ATR bible.

you could start with the ATR microlynx cable, should be easy to translate from there.

the Session Control website where the TimeLine data was stored is gone, but can be accessed by the wayback machine. https://web.archive.org/web/20110224001706/http://www.sessioncontrol.com/TL_archives.htm

then you'll need to find the unobtainable connector for the ATR.

Thanks for this Alan!

I managed to get everything to work except the lamps.
Not even sure if it's possible to do that from the ATR.

I would bet that if you did dive into the ATR manual you would find the connections for the lamps.

This give the info for transport control and also holds info on the tallies
but it's beyond my electronic skills to mate that with the S28E remote

I've done some simple test with connecting lamp common to the +5v line and using led diode lamps with a resistor on the SSL tape remote buttons
but it messes with the ATR's logic.

you need to be looking at 6-33/34 (in duotone 7)

the third line down is J11, the remote control connector
then it shows you where it is connected, you need to sleuth from there.

Cheers
