Title: SL6000V Manuals
Post by: noeqplease on June 13, 2015, 09:51:33 PM
Hi all,

I was looking on here to try to find the manuals for the SSL 6K consoles, with no luck. Someone on here said they were doing it... but I'm already on it. LOL.

I thankfully just found one, which includes the operation manual, service manual, and both manuals for the computer, along with some 20 odd field bulletins.

I will be scanning at 300dpi, so that the schematics come out really crisp if printed, or if you are blind, you can just "actual size" view on your image viewer, as it will be large enough to see extremely well. Because of this, I cannot post them directly on here, as all are larger than the 2.5MB size limit.

Just send me a PM with an email to send to you the particular page(s) you need.

Note : I will NOT send the entire manual. This is for owners of consoles, who are missing manuals / pages, and need only some of it. SSL is very "particular" about this information, so I don't want to make them mad. Got it?

Here is the TOC for the service manual:

Hi,

I would be very appreciated if you could share with me the entire manual. I am compiling several SSL manuals and documentation which are crucial for the the work we are doing here on the forum and the new computer. If you're willing to shared it I'd be very appreciated.

PS: do you have ultimation service manuals with the EF revision for the 353 and 354 cards? I am looking for those also.

Cheers,

Artur

EDIT: by the way, just to make clear I am an owner of an SSL 6000 G+, but I am looking for other manual versions.

I'll be going over the scans later in the week, once they are all captured.
This way, I can post a more detailed Table of Contents, with details as to which components are there.
Once it is done, just send me a PM for the page / schematic you need, and I'll send it.

Again, I will not give anyone the full manual, since SSL will most likely have problems with this, and I do not want to be on their bad side, ever. They are a fantastic company, one that I respect, and hope to do more mixing on their newer consoles soon.

Cheers

I'll look tonight. The service manual is done, next will be the computer manual. Maybe it's in there...
