Greetings fellow SSL freaks. I've been away for awhile cause of some legal and financial problems. That's life. Anyhow, Andy and Marc happy late BDay. I've finally got a stand built for my console so far and using what channels I have so far. I've been auctually been getting a lot more work with some Hip Hop artist, which is usually pretty easy setup. If I'm not producing the beats, it's mainly them bringing in a stereo track and just tracking vox. The artist are digging the vibe I have , so they tell there friends which turns into more work. Most all of you no how the rap session go.lol
Anyways sorry I haven't been around but I'm back and working on the console once again. Sorry Andy and Marc for not hitting you both up on your BDay. Also Mattia, I miss fucking with you.lol... greetings all, andy,Marc,mattia,Jim,and all fellow Ssl freaks. It's been awhile and I've missed everyone. Been in Nashville Tn I was working part time at mic-rehab learning and building custom mics. Learned a ton so if anyone of you cats need some modded out mics let me no. Anyways, I started a small company with a fellow DIY'r I'm sure andy,mattia knows him as Bruno2000. Go check out our site www.subhumanaudiopro.com. Now time to get back and get my center section done, get more channels, patchbay going. I've been tracking with outboard pres I built which is cool, but I got to get the mini Ssl going. So, sorry I've been away. Marc , love the name of your book, I'll have to pick that one up. I hope the osc. card worked out for you, sorry I didn't get in touch about that, but I've been slammed. Worked 8 months straight 7 day a week, 20 hr days and no one paid me one dime. Got screwed out of a ton of cash, but that's then it's time to get shit working and I start tracking a punk band next week, I bet I get my money up front before they even setup any gear.lol
Anyways, glad to be back, I missed you all......

Finally got a 651, thanks Simon for all your help. Can’t find trim so I went to the woodshop with some mahogany and a cnc machine. Hopefully Jim is going to hook me up with a patchbay, and other wiring.
Of course, Andy(sintech) with all his genius ways of work around and DIY’ing skills can help me understand and get some power to it.

You should be able to get MRAC connectors on eBay, unless someone here has some spare.

I looked forever Matt for Centre section, just got lucky on this one.
Now to start getting the rest of together. Found some recapped G channels here in Nashville at a great price thanks to FastVinnie.
