4K fader goes maximum at 100% down???

Hi Guys,

On a 4k without ultimation what might cause the faders to go all the loud when they hit the bottom?

Dirty track. A good clean will cure it.

The fader must be very dirty or damaged so at that position you are losing your 5 volts
and it is going to 0v and that is full volume. N

yeah, I think it's more like a damage fader... you can just barely move it around down at the bottom and get it to cut back and forth... I have just never seen this,yet rebuild about 80 ultimation faders but none of these type.

the plastic conductor tracks can be damaged. Check if they show any wear. If that's the case you can be loosing contact. Also check the brushes.
