Hi guys,

Just wanted to make a quick update regarding the project and let you know the VCA cards beta 2 are in and they sure look good! We're going to assemble it and test it in the next couple of weeks and hopefully this will be the final version for VCA consoles. \m/

PS: this is the VCA console card... the Ultimation it's already in the cooking... :D

Actually if you search back early update posts you can see that we already had a beta 1 for ultimation. We then decided to redesign the entire architecture to improve overall signal, features, control and reliability. This redesign was done instead for the VCA since we had a quick way to test these on a local console, hence VCA beta 1 and VCA beta 2. Now after beta 2 testing we're going to back port all the new design to the Ultimation beta 2.

I guess I don't understand the phrase "working"

is that a new milestone in wireless technology?

I would be nice to have a fully working card with 10% of components populated! :D Not wireless, but magic! ;)

Photo update. Basic tests are almost terminated, which will soon be followed by tests on a real console. ;)
