4k PSU bypass alarm?
« on: July 28, 2015, 05:15:50 AM »
Hi Guys,

Has anyone come up with a way to leave a regulator card out (48v in our case) and still have the alarm only come on if one of the other rails fail?

Meaning: We had a 20v card fail one of the transformers the OEP K3020E which seem to be NLA (if there is a source or aftermarket let me know)
We took the 48v card and are using it in place of the bad 20v card, adjusted the supply and everyones happy...

Except the "ALARM" is sounding from the dead/missing 48v. The ALARM is switched off as to not annoy people, but we would like to be alerted if other rails go down.

Anyway to trick the alarm system into thinking the 48 is there?
