SSL restoration project
« on: September 01, 2015, 10:18:11 AM »
Hey all,

I decided to restore the console I purchased from Kevin (audio parlor) to its older self. I've already put in a lot of hours to pull it from the grave!

I'm currently looking for these at a reasonable price

G+ Computer with Ultimation software and cards and ideally TR cards.
8 - 16 Ultimation Faders
8 VCA Ultimation Cards
Cabling between SL569 Power Supply and 5 buckets of faders + patchable vcas.
Talkback centre section card for 6000E
VC9 pre-insert card 82e282c686 (tacked on to the back of 6000 consoles)
40 Channels of TR cards (also not a must but would be great!)

If anyone has any leads that would be much appreciated! I've hit up AES to receive a quote but the package was a bit more than I can afford!
Thanks!

Funky Junk London (Mark thompson) has got boxes of TR cards and various spares you might need.
Also I think Andy/Sintech (here on the forum) has got loads of spares

good luck!

If the power supply cabling is the same as a 4K, then I have a full set of power supply & automation cables for a 40 channel console, VCA automation - not Ultimation.

BTW I also have a pair of legs from a 4K
