Title: SSL SL4000E specification
Post by: walrus on March 23, 2015, 12:12:52 PM
I just found this lurking in one of my (many) folders and thought I might be of interest.
Unfortunately, there is no date anywhere, but it refers to the Jensen transformer mic input so must be a fairly early spec.

that document spells its age, the units they used have fallen out of favor, the dbv is now generally called the dbu, so as to not confuse it with the dbV, ie db re: 1Volt.

while we know the dbu to be referenced to the mentioned 0.775V as 0dbu.

Cheers
