WTB: THAT 202 VCA

Hey guys,

Looking for a vca chip to my clients 4000E/G console. If anyone has one hit me a message ;)

not clear to me, are you looking for the whole 202x assembly or the dbx 2151 chips that make up the assembly?

the 2181 chip can be subed for the 2151 if the whole assembly is done, there are also new circuit boards available that use 4 instead of 8 dbx chips (all you "need" for 2181 series). They of course will have different qualities than the original vca board.  That is over in the DIY forums.

Mouser stocks the dbx chips in the US, not sure who in Europe is the distributor.
only source of 2151 chips is ebay or other similar sources.

Looking for whole 202x.
Propably one of the 8 2151 has blown and it leaks cv to the output. Of course I could find fried chip but it takes more time than change whole assembly -> more economic
