293 and 294 cards
« on: April 22, 2023, 05:05:16 AM »
Curious.

Do the 293 and 294 cards expect to “see” each other. Or will they play nice with their predecessors?
Meaning. Mixed with the 11 and 12 cards.
Working out a mix match of a console right now.

Thanks!

As far as I know they are not dependent on each other.
I've been running repairs and calibration with a mix of them in place.

The only difference as far as I know, is that the Group Amp card has Input To Meters as standard, rather than needing the E189 sub board used on retrofits.

The logic board also has a -25V low logic level, to ensure that the FETs are off.
