Title: Ultimation faders and heat
Post by: mg73 on June 08, 2018, 02:04:48 PM
How much heat is normal for the Ultimation faders so produce?
My faders panels feels almost as warm as the center section when touching them.

Ours get really hot as well. There's a lot of stuff crammed into a very small space.

Yes, I wish there was a way to bypass all that electronics  and just have the pots and motors active.
I miss my UpTown.

they do get a bit warm, but if it really builds up like that your ac might not be not be powerful enough.

i have the cool air drop right on top of the console, and the surface never gets over room temp.

do you have the vented knee panels? i've seen ultimation retrofits without, that can be a problem.

I wonder if removing the knee panels would extend the life of the components from less heat stress?
