On the earlier SSL consoles, they used a 681E keyboard panel in the centre section. Other smaller sized panels normally used for customer options (like fitting Lexicon remotes) and tape machine controls (wired to S28E 25 way D connectors) were generally a 682 size. The 685 5" TV and 683, programmable equaliser were also the same size as a 682 panel as well I think along with the Events controller and Real time system panels (686 and 687 ??)
The 681E keyboard had a TR card fitted when required although SSL started to fit these in a non TR console so that clients would wonder why the card was there, enquire about TR and possibly get a future sale!
Anyway, the card you are after for the 681 keyboard is a 82E88 PCB and along with the 03 channel TR cards plus the computer 89 and 90 PCB's, constituted the bulk of the SSL Total Recall system PCB's. I recently saw an 88 card for over £100 on Ebay or, perhaps Gearslutz. Hope this helps. Recycled Audio, George Gilbert or Funky Junk should be able to help on this.
