Title: WTB Cannon DL96 snakes
Post by: Kevrok on October 06, 2016, 07:35:00 AM: Looking for some Cannon DL96 Snakes for my SSL 4000 console. Any lengths from 3' and up...16, 24, or 32 channel. Not really worried about the fan out end as far as what is or isn't pre-wired. Just need a couple to wire up a couple new AD/DA converters

Go on Ebay and buy 20-25 foot 24 channel mogami snakes then send them to Chris at Redco.

You might find some DL connectors raw but that will be harder than finding raw snakes.

Once you get the cables and DL send them to Chris to wire up.

Just saw this. Good price. You'll need at least 6 to start 9 with just a little outboard.

I have two 24 channles with DL96 245.00 ea. 20 ft long.

What I would recommend though is, if you buy them, take the backshell off and examine the wiring to see if it looks good regarding the crimping. Sometimes, if the wiring method is not that good, you could end up with wires coming out or even shorting between circuits, especially if no heatshrink or rubber sleeve has been used. Just beware, that's all.

If you dudes need any wiring work done, I am available and, to those of you in most of Europe or the USA, my prices should be cheaper with the GB£ going down around 10% against those currencies since Brexit.
