Title: cut vca switch

it has started to smell burnt out and the cut switch on the group 1 vca suddenly lights up very dimly.  Which card should I check?

Possibly the BFR39 / BFR80 transistors on the CF80E20 card.
If these blow through, the adjacent 10R resistors will probably burnout as well. The evidence will be clear.
I had this happen to a few of my VCA groups.
