replacing SSL black 242 eq card for 82e02 card

  Hello

Can anyone tell me if I can just remove a black eq 242 card in my 1987 SSL4000E  console for a 82E02 card ? I would love to hear the brown eqs in my desk..If not what changes need to be done to make it work?

Yeah, you can just swap the EQ's over.

The Black EQ is a Brown with Steeper Filters (and newly introduced Switches) they also added a bit more boost on the Top and Bottom.

I run some Very late 1989 E series channels with Brown cards.. and all is fine, and the filters still switch as the Black
