Hi and sorry for the delay in replying as I have just seen this today.
SSL used pre cut and stripped lengths of solid core Kynar wire for their pots, switches and jack normalling. These were 24 awg from memory but I do remember them using 26 awg as well.
I have just had a quick look at Farnell and can't see that particular version but they do have some Alpha rough equivalent types in various colours as shown on the weblink below. OK Industries also do a version.

You would have to buy a reel of this but it may only be a few GB Pounds or Euros. Teflon wire is also suitable and is less liable to having the insulation melt back when you solder it but the Kynar variety is also good. Obviously you need the right core diameter in order for it to go through the holes in the motherboard but I think 24 awg should be ok, just look carefully at the specs.
