When you do your centre, it's well worth doing it a full bucket wide, just for the eight fader VCA groups. Lot of 24's have just four.. And that's not enough to do a band in the practical sense.

I think I'll just use my 1st bucket with the channels in it, to make my center section. I'll leave the 2 buckets I just got as is. What do I need to be able to section it off and how wide will the section be?  Like your Main section Andy.

Hahaha!!! Everyone is forbidden on bidding on that G channel but you! be a shame if you don't get it. Too far away for me to even consider, and you deserve it! :-)))

Was that the same guy from b4?

Yeah, no point in messing up great buckets :--)))

Did you get some legs?

Andy, I won the channel by $0.01... You must have scared everyone else from bidding.lol
Will the G ch work in same bucket as my E's for right now?
Also a guy give me the 9k balancing pcb. That should be all cards for center section.

Hey, well done. Yeah the G will sit next to an E all day.

The 9K balancing board is always useful to have. Do you have a 25 card? if not the 9K can be used to balance up the output of the compressor, to give a stereo programme out.

Hey man, I have no 25 card. That's why I got the balancing pcbs. I think you told me you did that or I could do that instead of paying a crap load for the 25 card. I'll catch up to ya one day, if you ever stop adding. Before long your going to have the same size console you had before. So, you need to stop adding them and send them to me. Hahaha

My Mk1 centre section has the 9k card, it works great, basically the same cross-coupled output stage in a single IC package. It drives the monitor controller+Two retuning inputs in to a 192+ NTP LED PPM with no issues at a all :-)

You can compare it to the post VCA insert send, and it sounds the same.

The Mk2 has a 025 card, as one came about, unfortunately it's only one I have! :( and seem to have five of everything else!

Yea, it's the one in Japan. I notice the pultec style eq also. It won't stay at that price long. If it goes over $400, I'm out.

Yeah.. the Pultec eq is not so good. Same top and bottom as the Brown, but the mid range feels too wide to be useful.. It's crazy! You have to use one ..to really dislike it!

I got spare Brown cards, so don't worry :-)

I thought we could change the card out. I talked to Jim about patchbay. You might have to explain the center section layout that I will have, since I'm basically doing the same as yours, but with no talkback limiter cards. I was trying to figure out how to set-up it up with my Aviom cue system. Jim said he had done one with the cue system last year. On the edge connectors, do I pull the pins on the ones that say, not used and spares?
