Sync issues.desk addS pre roll even when set at 0:00 **SOLVED**

Hi guys

We have our 4K G+ sync'd to Pro Tools 10 HDX via a Konnektor (and Sync I/O).

Everything works great except that every location we enter with a GOTO command puts a 3.41 second pre roll on the timecode.
We have checked the session settings and pre roll is set to 0:00

This is a big deal when trying to go to the start of a session or set up a mix from the correct start point, as if we type GOTO 0:00 to ensure our mix starts from the exact start of the track in pro tools, the computer rewinds to 23:59:56.19 ...... which then kills Pro Tools when the timecode reaches 0:00 as the earlier time doesn't exist in the pro tools file and it seems to get confused.

Are we missing something here?
Are there any other settings to change in the desk computer?
Do we need to adapt the start of our pro tools sessions to account for this weirdness?

The pre roll (if that's what it is) doesn't really effect anything elsewhere in the session, just starting tracks as it kills pro tools.

You really want to add 8 bars to the start of the PT's arrangement.

Then you have a nice buffer, and never go near 0:00 when locating the top of the track

Using Tape, you would have silence before 0:00 not 23:59:56.19 so this situation wouldn't be possible. Park the SSL on blank bar 4, and "TITLE FROM HERE"

Fantastic - I keep forgetting this stuff was all designed around tape. That makes perfect sense
