Hi Uffe (and others)
I wish I had more time to detail all of these connectors, as used on SSL consoles but, for now, I will provide some basics.
SSL used the round (4, 8, 12, 19 and 35 way) and rectangular (6, 12 and 24 way) connectors on their consoles which were originally made by Bicc and (some of?) these were called Trident.
It seems that they are now produced by another company and I have shown some basic details below after looking up the 6 way connector that Uffe requires. This one is for the 2 x twin screen cable that goes into the connector via socket (female) crimped inserts and plugs into the upper buscards on the SSL.
This reference is for Farnell and is more relevant to Uffe as she lives in Denmark in Europe. The USA has a similar company called Newark, I believe which is associated with Farnell.

Hope this helps for now. I can't quite believe that these 6 way connectors cost about 70p (or $1.00) now as they used to cost about £0.16p, not too long ago and they are only bits of plastic and the ruddy oil price as gone down over the years as well...!
