Hi all!

I suppose it's possible to put peoples location next to avatar just like in Group DIY. I would love to see where people are located. May we have this very useful option enabled please?

Working on it.
apparently it's not a simple tick option in this version of simple machines.
I'll know more soon.
stand-by chaps.

quick update
the forum does support this feature but there isn't a box to tick that will just make it work.
there isn't a plug in also that could be installed to fully enable the feature but there is a code that needs to be inserted to make it work.

so I am on stand-by with the site programmer to see when he has a time-slot to do it.

be patient as I am an audio engineer not a web-guru,otherwise I would have done it myself.

Mattia.

Members location reminder
« Reply #7 on: December 13, 2013, 11:04:48 PM »
Hi all (especially new members)

Just a reminder to everyone who hasn't done it so far to ideally enter their town or city plus Country in their profile so that others can see where they are located.

This helps especially if members need to communicate or buy/sell stuff. Heck, someone could be 100 yards away in the same town as opposed to 5000 miles in a different Country but, if the details are not provided, you don't know do you?

Thanks from Jim Lassen

Hi Mattia (long time no speak)

I just wanted to make this message big, bold and in colour to attract attention and get the message across, that's all. Hope you are busy where ever you are.
