Bar graphs - theory of operation please
« on: October 29, 2013, 08:29:59 PM »
Hey guys!

I'm working with new client and he has bargraphs installed in his 4024E console. It looks like there's few plasmas worned out but there's also some trouble with motherboard.
I've been reading Service Manual but I just don't understand how in the heck meters are working. I'm totally confused with all these Ramp Generators and stuff. I'm sure it's not that complicated so I'm asking a favour here. Could someone please write me a wireframe model what's going on with the meters.

Thanks in advance,
Paavo

Hi Paavo,

Please read section 12 in service manual. The entire operation is explained on pages 12-1 to 12-17.
Warning, high voltage on some cards!
