I've been given the wonderful task of cleaning the surface of a 64 channel 9000J. Best way I've found to clean it is to remove all buttons and knobs, and soak them in warm soapy water, rinse/wipe them off, and let them dry. While they dry, I can get all the dust, and gunk off the channel strip. Then comes the tedious task of putting them all back. It is too time consuming.
Is there a better way to actually clean them?
I'm about to have the intern go in with q-tips and some isopropyl…

Normally, put them in a pillow case (knotted) and then in the washing machine.
Did this with the caps from my computer keyboard also :-)))
Marc, uses a dishwasher, and his turned out amazing!
