Recall data of classic mixes
« on: November 07, 2020, 06:38:44 PM »
Hi all,
do you know if there are ways to obtain recall data of classic, well known tracks?
I would love to study them, understanding how the mixes came together and improve my own skills.

Might there be already an archive somewhere? Either online or in the real world?
Who usually stores the recall data? Studios or labels? Is there a copyright on it?
What happens if  studios close? Is all the recall data then lost, or being collected somewhere?

The digital recall on an SSL would lend itself nicely to distributing recall data.
Do you know if there already is software to load SSL recall data on a regular PC and visualize the data?
Or have there been projects started to develop this?
