Hi Marcone,
could you fix the problem?
I think I have the same problem, but it is still there even when all buckets are switched off.
It also affects every LF Cut button. Extrem when you solo something and a good amount of channels are getting cut.

Sell-Buy / FS - SSL 9000J 48 channels / 80 frame + all cabling remote patchbay
« Last post by rvvlcodavid on December 08, 2025, 06:26:58 PM »
Please inquire - I will be updating the photos here and giving more of the specs and report from Bruce at Desk Doctors.

Unlike other desks listed elsewhere, this is FULLY WORKING w/ power supplies and all Mogami cabling for all desk and patchbay lines. That alone is $10k worth of interconnects that you do not need to have made and everything is done via a massive amount of ELCOs to panels. This is a complete install package including massive cable runs to the power rack, & remoted patchbay.

SSL did the decommissioning of this desk which had fewer years of wear and tear, as it originally sat in crates intended for a different original owner. Then I got it and stored climate controlled, and it is fully working and ready to go. Just will need the basic amount of going over.

The pedigree of this desk’s history is hit upon hit from the one studio it was in originally.

Overview:

- Power with lots of head room for filling the complete 80 frame.

- More modules are available and open to discussing options or your needs

- Open to working to get this to Europe or anywhere if someone wants to work on importing and shipping this

- Pickup and transport can be arranged; and if out of the country - shipping/crating/costs will be arranged.

$43,000 - includes everything including the turnkey $10k package of cabling originally used for power, control lines, audio lines, patchbay lines

Inquire for more details. Then continue making and mixing huge world class hit records with this thing!

Offers/arrangements accepted and can be discussed.

Sell-Buy / FS - SSL 9000J Channel Modules available
« Last post by rvvlcodavid on December 08, 2025, 07:16:28 AM »
These are from my working desk, but have not been being used as its currently decommissioned.

Just do some light typical cleaning and they will drop right into a console, all are in great shape, and originally verified by Bruce at Desk Doctors.

These have lower hrs on them than most of these desks that are out there.

Can be used as spares or for parts for your SSL 9000J (or replace it!) or use in your project to run standalone or rack them - I have PSU kits available!

$535 / each

Pairs or multiples - I can discount or provide free shipping...

Inquire with any questions. And can provide any detailed close up photos to evaluate current state of components.

SSL never used a 5.25" floppy drive. I looked up the ebay listing and that is an 8" floppy drive. If you look up the part # of the Verbatim floppy FD 34-8000 you'll see that's an 8" floppy.

Hi Anthony,

Normally, the "COPY ALL EX" command duplicates the system disk.
BUT !!! As I recall, I believe that in SSL programming, they assumed the same drive would be used...

Cheers,
Pascal
