From plasma to VU meters
« on: April 29, 2021, 04:12:36 PM »
Buying a console that originally had none functioning plasma’s however we want to change them out fr VU’s I know sifam doesn’t make the originals anyone the direct replacement is a bigger size, Ive seen a few threads on this but wasn’t sure if there was a definitive answer on what new meters to buy if I needed 48 of them haha

Also if anyone is selling the VU’s from their desk let me know.

Gareth @ CML is putting together a really nice alternative to the VU meters, using Sifam AL29 meters.
It is still a little way off, but would be quicker than hoping to locate 48x R22 meters.

Otherwise, you can get busy modifying these ones which are going cheap.
