Workshop downsizing and clearance, West Yorkshire UK.

Hello All,

I am on a workshop downsizing and clearance mission.
There is a lot of gear that is in need of a better home.
I have had items in stock that have not been used and are unlikely to be used by me, so they need to go to people who will use them.
Some equipment and materials are from SSL 4000 & 6000, some is general equipment & material that has general studio /audio / workshop application.

In overview of SSL, this is what is available, as shown in the photos:
2x Mid-frame supports. One has a foot fitted, the other does not.
2x "tall backed" console supports. In the pics these are bubble-wrapped.
2x "short backed" console supports.
2x cross beams. These are approx 12 feet in length.
2x "hockey stick" shaped end trims
2x vinyl covered side trim pieces.

Other items - non-SSL - include various cable types in various lengths, GPO patch strips, Calrec power supplies, 19" rack towers from 24U up to about 48U.

If these items do not go to good new homes, they will be going to a scrap metal merchant. A terrible waste, but one of necessity.


Reasonable offers will be accepted.
Buyer collects.
VAT invoices for purchased items will be provided.

TBH, I don't have terms of reference for what the typical second-hand or recovered from a down-sized console prices would be. All items are second hand and condition is imperfect, so the best I can ask is for reasonable offers to be made, which in all probability will be accepted.
I can certainly do photos with greater detail if required.

Hi all.

I can certainly verify and vouch for Gareth as we have communicated many times in the past. In my opinion, he is a sound and honest person and has undertaking many Neve and SSL refurbs within the UK over many decades even though he is new on this forum.

Hope this helps and re-assures any people wanting to buy his surplus stock of SSL parts plus 19" racking etc.

Bear in mind that Gareth is based in the UK so any heavy items may not be worthwhile shipping to outside the UK. Europe and especially further afield in the World like Asia, USA and Australia may be cost prohibited (too much) so, give that a thought please before replying to him.
