Thought I'd start a little thread on the birth of my SSL 4024.

Looking great so far :) George G is custom building this for David via AES Pro Audio, and Jim is doing the Receiving DL's

For the Geeks, note it has E series mix bus on the front, and G series on the back. I think this is awesome! With a little cross patching you have two mix flavours.

are you going to implement those NEVE 1096?? modules that are sitting on your bench in your 4024?

They're Michael Stockdale's (AES boss). I told him they weren't worth anything so he may as well just give them to me ...but he insisted that they make very handy paperweights. Especially as they 1093s rebuilt to perfection for Michael by Blake Devitt.

Hey Mata. They are going to be a mixture:

8 x 02 EQ  (E series); 8 x 242 EQ (E series); 2 x 132 EQ (E series) - if we don't like these or don't find them useful then we'll turn them into E 242s or G 292s; 6 x 292 EQ (G series).

Not getting the computer, but thought the keyboard might work with the Dramastic system when it rears it's mythical head...

Otherwise... it looks prettier.
