Last October, at the Los Angeles AES convention, we introduced
the Tangerine Automation Interface for the SSL 4000/6000/8000. After
a period of what looks like a 'monastic retreat" or should we call it "web silence", we are getting to a state so close to commercial release and we want let interested SSL owners know about it.
For the last months, we have been tuning our Tangerine Automation Interface, looking for the best solutions/alternative to solve the Ptools 32 channels "non Avid controller" limits, developing our rack mount unit , as well as our business, administrative and marketing structures.
We have built a small batch of what we consider our production units, and will go for FCC approval in the next weeks.
Once FCC is passed, US and international sales will be possible, Meanwhile, due to imports and exports regulations on computer equipment and peripherals, our
Tangerine Automation Interfaces are not allowed for sales out of Canada (you lucky Canadian SSL owners...).
