Title: Racking entire SSL channel

Hello there,

Has anyone around here attempted to rack entire channels and come up with some kind of custom housing?

Recommendations for custom rack service providers are also very welcome.

Hi,

I've already done that.
If it's a 4000 channel, it is fairly easy because everything is modular.
Never try on a 9000 !!!
The rack will be very dependent on the functions that you want to put into.
(Preamp, Dyn, EQ, etc ...)
If you're in Europe, you can try the Hifi 2000 racks https://www.modushop.biz/site/

Funky Junk London has racked a huge amount of these, but not sure there are any pictures around...
I know they simply cut the motherboard at the mini fader height and put that into a rack

I mean the entire channel, not chop it up like funky junk.

If you realy want one racked Recycled can do that for you.

George tech for AES Pro Audio could do what you want also but get ready to pay.

As an SSL owner I don't know why you would want that. Just get the one already in the 19" rack from Keith. Done
