Title: SSL 4K G-series 82249 and 82295.71 schematic **SOLVED**

Hello,
I need to service some G-series console modules.
I have all the service docs of the console although strangely the channell amplifier in the schematics has some differences regarding to the the one that is fitted in the console.

The channel amps of this console have stepped switches for gain,
the schematic on the service manual is the T82291.71, schematic attached. the schematic has a note dated May 89 saying "Mic Gain Switch Removed see AM T82295.71"

Does anyone have the schematic T82295.71 or T82249 schematic?

Hey Guys,
I need a little help understanding the gain switch wiring on this module.
Here's what I CAN understand:
- It's essentially putting a resistor between Pins 2 and 4 of the Molex connector
- 2 separate cables are used for the pole (pins 4+5) and switch output (pins 1+2)
- pin 3 is a telescoping ground that surrounds both cables

What I don't understand is the theory behind Pins 1+5. Why do they take the output of IC1 and IC2 to a resistor, and then use that as a telescoping shield for each individual lead?
I've attached some pics as reference of what I think is going on.
Anyone know what's up with this?

Gain switch wiring?? maybe?
And if so, who makes a multipair wire like this?
