Title: 8k ABCD bus + docs

hey all,

anyone know where to find 8k documentation? the manuals supplied with my desk are all 4k so they have no info on the ABCD bus. any help would be great! thanks!

I also have an 8k with no docs. I believe this is because all 8k's were custom made to fit broadcast trucks and other bespoke
broadcast installations which means every 8k was different enough for SSL to not make runs of manuals like there are for 4k.

I have access to a set of manuals but could only scan the sections needed and
I'm not sure when. You would be the first 8K user I know of that even has any
interest in using them! Aren't they after all really just group buttons and group
mix amps? 8)

I have complete set of manuals for my 8K, I wish i could find copy place I trusted to make a complete set of PDF's..

Does your console have the SSL SL594 Master Bus Modules? Mine does and the A/B/C/D bus go to those (not through the group amps). Let me know and I can snap shots of what you need.

Also, if anyone has any bright ideas on how to dump the SL594 output onto the L/R bus that would be great.
