Title: Headphone mix mute question

Hi guys,

I'm kind of new to having an SSL (a small E series).

I have a problem when recording- I send my headphone mix on the first aux. Though when I press Solo or mute on the desk, this also solos to the headphone mix.  (so the person recording can not hear the track). How do I get around this?

Is the send pot that you're using set to 'PRE'?

afl button. also lets you solo without cutting your tape sends. mono feed only on on most 4ks though.
